New Information: "Illinois Workplace Transparency Act (WTA)"—The WTA provides that no employment contract, agreement, waiver, or other document may prohibit or restrict an applicant, employee, or former employee from reporting allegations of unlawful conduct to federal, state, or local officials (EO-4).

New Information: "IDHR Annual Disclosures Reporting"The IDHR has issued FAQs to assist employers with the reporting and disclosure requirements, available online on the IDHR website (EO-12).

New Information: "Sexual Harassment Training"—Employers are required to provide sexual harassment prevention training by December 31, 2020 and annually thereafter; the IDHR has released a model sexual harassment prevention training program, available online in English or Spanish (EO-14).

New Information: “Titile VII: Sexual Orientation Discrimination Prohibited”—On June 15, 2020, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that employment discrimination based on sexual orientation or transgender status violates federal law under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act (Bostock v. Clayton Cty) (EO-25).
